Go against the market... that's where the pot of gold is sometimes to be found

A near enough verbatim quote from yours truly in the green room last evening..."Uni Cat should be a routine home win..." I therefore didn't lay them at 1.4 or so. I didn't take 0-0 on at 30 and I refused to get involved in Under 2.5 at nearly 4.

Magallanes won 0-1 with the goal coming at 85 minutes.

Great!

  1. I thought the same, so I layed under 1.5 goals just after HT.

I ended up laying 0-0 late on to cover most of my red, got some back with the late winner, but didn't expect it too come from the source that it did in the end.

No complaints though, I'll take a goal where ever it comes from at that stage of the match.

  2. The annoying thing for me is that for a few seconds I considered doing a 0-0 0-1 1-0 on the game but dismissed it as a silly thing to even contemplate. Doh!

  3. Not doing a bet that you fancy and that went on to win, can feel worse than having a losing bet. Although strictly speaking, I'm not sure it is.
